Granddaughter Sally

Born in Woodstock, Ont., Dec 4 seventy three
My first granddaughter you came to be
I was proud as I could be
To have you as a granddaughter my sweet Sally

You were beautiful, an angel fair,
You were born with lost of grace.
Big brown eyes, like sparkling dew,
That looked at me, said I love you.

You’ve been on this earth now eight years,
You have shed many tears
of suffering, but never complain,
Although you’ve known only pain.

Your God’s little angel, and you mine too,
Little Sally, we both love you.
Wish you had lived closer west,
Your loved ones miss, your hugs and kisses, miss you dear.

Sally you are a very special little girl
I love you very much
